Bill bringing Marriage back to its natural course - A step in the right direction.

A union between a man and a woman

Just yesterday, I've been to a marriage ceremony and it was so beautiful and sacred, but what makes marriage more beautiful and sacred is that it is a copy of the supernatural marriage between Christ and His Church. At the wedding ceremony yesterday, the speaking brother gave me an entire different idea about marriage. Off course I knew marriage was ordained by God and that God respects marriage and it is not something we should toy with, but yesterday the speaking brother made mention of the fact that marriage is God's gift to mankind - a way of making man enjoy just a negligible amount of the pleasure in the Trio-union God head. 

This minute enjoyment cannot be compared to the enjoyment that will exist between enjoyment that will exist between Christ and His Church. I also realise that one main purpose of marriage is to produce life - When the Trio-union God said let us create man in our own image, they were referring to intimacy which is  a mystery; the mingling, communion or the fellowship that took place among the Trio-union God is what bring forth life which is man. The same way when a and a woman comes together to produce life, among many other things, when they get married. 

“Marriage was historically a religious covenant first and a government-recognized contract second,” Stated the proponents of this course. 

Today marriage has become something else, the whole idea and the principle of marriage has been turn upside down; men are marrying men and women are marrying women, even some, so called, 'churches' are also putting these unholy structures in place. Believe it or not everything we do is an emblem of something supernatural. Especially in the Christian faith, the Lord's table Lord's table is a typical example. So is marriage symbol of the union between Christ and the Church. Marriage is just to bring to mankind's what joy there is in Christ. Thank God for using some devoted men in the US to right the wrongs of marriage in America. Marriage should not be an entire legal decision since it a total spiritual matter and this union is also made to exist between man and woman not man and man nor woman and woman.

In an effort to block the state’s involvement with gay marriage, the Oklahoma House of Representatives passed a bill Tuesday (March 10) to abolish marriage licenses in the state. The legislation, authored by Rep. Todd Russ, R-Cordell, amends language in the state law that governs the responsibilities of court clerks. All references to marriage licenses were removed.

 

Russ said the intent of the bill is to protect court clerks caught between the federal and state governments. A federal appeals court overturned Oklahoma’s ban on same-sex marriage last year. Russ, like many Republican legislators in the state, including Gov. Mary Fallin, believes the federal government overstepped its constitutional authority on this issue. Acknowledging that his bill is partially in response to the federal court ruling, Russ told ABC News affiliate KSWO that the federal government lacks the power to “force its new definitions of what they believe on independent states.” Continue reading...
